Project Description
CT1 serves as a carrier-dense interconnection hub, strategically located at the southernmost tip of Africa. The data centre currently offers 2 500 m2 of data halls with 3 MW of critical IT load, which will be expanded by adding 1 000 m2 of data halls and 2 MW of critical IT load.

The plans for the CT1 expansion currently under way will increase critical power load capacity to 191 MW. This includes the Isando Campus (JB1/JB3/JB5: 70 MW), Bredell Campus  (JB2/JB4: 64 MW), Cape Town Campus (CT1/CT2: 55 MW) and Durban (DB1: 2 MW).
